CURRENT NEWS!!

A NOTE from Rev. Dr. Etienne:

Hello Family and Friends!

I know that many of you are wondering whether our ministry is still operating in Haiti. The answer is a conditional yes. Our mission and vision do not change although we have to adjust our timelines because of circumstances beyond our abilities. We cannot travel to Haiti now due to the violence and instability. It is simply not safe to conduct a normal operation when there is no infrastructure to apply the rules of law. Therefore, we don’t have pictures and testimonies to share. MIVO is taking advantage of the time to refine our strategic planning. We will not give up on the great mission and the wonderful people of Haiti. Please, continue to pray for the foundation, the communities around L’Estere and Haiti as a whole. We would like to thank you for your continuing support to our ministry. At this juncture, we sincerely need a renewed dose of wisdom and faith. We stand firm in our belief of God's grace and His mercy. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Love Always,

Rev. Dr. Gracia Etienne

Stateside News

April was a busy month for MIVO stateside volunteers. The foundation continues to pick up donated supplies, which when properly stored, can be saved for use in the future at the Haiti clinic. A big thanks to all those who continue to remain steadfast in their hard work with us and to all those prayer warriors out there! WATCH for additional opportunities to serve locally as a MIVO volunteer. We will be sharing optional dates / times to help sort the supplies as well as seeking volunteers to assist with our upcoming events.

We hope to see everyone June 1, at our Pop Up Prayer Time.

1 Corinthians 15:58:

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
