At our January meeting, the MIVO Foundation's Executive Committee presented the Faith in Action Award, for the 4th quarter of 2022, to Mark Bakey of York, PA. Mark has been an advocate for the foundation and for "the least of these" in Haiti for many years.

Mark's experience as a Registered Nurse First Assist proved essential to the success of; not just one, but 3 mission trips to the ortho clinic since 2018 with his wife, Maryanna, accompanying him on 2 of the 3 trips as a physical therapist.

Mark remains heavily involved on the stateside volunteer team offering transport of medical equipment and sorting of supplies. As a member of MIVO’s Stateside Subcommittee, Mark's insightful vision and passion to serve represent true Christian faith in action. Please join us in congratulating Mark.
